How to cut back on Sodium?
To lower the risk of high blood pressure and other heart diseases, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005 updated its guideline on sodium based on the DASH diet. The DASH Diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) was tested and established by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute NHLBI.
